On Friday 10 January 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the renovated library of the Hellenic Army Academy was held in Vari, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence, Mr Nikolaos Dendias, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Giannis Kefalogiannis, the Chief/Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Dimitrios Choupis, and the Chief/Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis. The renovation of the library was effected due to an exclusive donation by the President and Founder of the maritime company SEALINK NAVIGATION Ltd. Mr Nikolaos Kosmatos.

The ceremony was honoured by the presence of the Mayor of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni Mr Grigorios Konstantellos, Archimandrite Mr Makris, as representative of his Eminence, the Metropolitan of Glyfada, Elliniko, Voula, Vouliagmeni, and Vari, Mr Antonios, the Chief/Hellenic Navy General Staff Vice Admiral Dimitrios Eleftherios Kataras HN, the Chief/Hellenic Air Force General Staff Lieutenant General (Pilot) Dimosthenis Grigoriadis, the Honorary Chief/HAGS, General Georgios Kambas (ret.) former Minister of Citizen Protection and Honorary Chief/HAGS, General Charalampos Lalousis (ret.), members of the Supreme Military Council, teaching personnel and Cadets, active and retired officers, as well as other guests.
