On Saturday, 21 January 2023, the first meeting of the new Supreme Military Council took place at the Hellenic Army General Staff in Camp “PAPAGOU”.

The Council consists of the following Officers:

–  Lieutenant General Angelos Choudeloudis, Chief HAGS
–  Lieutenant General Ioannis Tsioplos, Commanding General, Hellenic First Army
–  Lieutenant General Anastasios Spanos, Army Inspector General – Commander, Doctrine and Training Command
–  Lieutenant General Dimitrios Choupis, Commanding General, Special Warfare Command
–  Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, Commanding General, Higher Army Support Military Command
–  Lieutenant General Dimokritos Konstantakos, Commanding General, D Army Corps
–  Lieutenant General Sotirios Kostakoglou, Commanding General, Higher Military Command of Interior and Islands
–  Lieutenant General Spyridon Alfantakis, Commandant, Hellenic National Defence College
–  Lieutenant General Andreas Koronakis, Deputy Chief HAGS
–  Lieutenant General Stavros Papastathopoulos, HAGS Chief of Staff
–  Lieutenant General Paris Kapravelos, Commanding General, C Army Corps/NRDC-GR
