On Wednesday 26 February 2025, in the presence of the Minister of National Defence Mr Nikolaos Dendias, the Deputy Minister of National Defence Mr Giannis Kefalogiannis, the Chief/Hellenic National Defence General Staff General Dimitrios Choupis, and the Chief/Hellenic Army General Staff Lieutenant General Georgios Kostidis, the Inauguration Ceremony of the Officers’ Military Residences and Special Army Unit Supply Centre (Branch of Western Attica) and the Petrol Station – Car Wash Complex, was held at “KARAISKAKIS B” Camp, in Chaidari.

Specifically, three new Officers’ Residences buildings were delivered, containing a total of thirty-seven apartments. The settlement contains a variety of facilities such as: A petrol station – car wash, a super market, a café, and a children’s playground.

The ceremony was attended by the MP for the Western Sector of Attica Mr Dimitrios Kalogeropoulos, the Mayor of Chaidari Mr Michalis Selekos, His Eminence the Metropolitan of Nicaea Mr Alexios, the former Minister of Citizen Protection and Honorary Chief/HAGS, General Charalampos Lalousis (ret.), representatives of the Chiefs/HNGS and HAFGS, members of the Supreme Military Council, active and retired Officers, and other guests.
